Mannequin duo FEMM to perform last concert on December 16
Reaching their 10th year anniversary, FEMM will be disbanding by the end of 2023. And since London is a special place for the Mannequin duo, it was the fitting city to render their last performance together.
FEMM’s Message to Agents (Fans)
Hi agents, thank you for supporting us for the past 10 years.
We are so happy to be able to perform in so many countries this year, and even got an EP out. As much as we want to revisit all the countries and cities, it is just impossible to do so. Finally, we have decided to perform our last oversea show in London, and we wanted to explain why.
London is a special place for us
We have performed multiple times including two solo shows and festivals like HYPER JAPAN.
Since we have a special place in our hearts for the city, we thought it would be a perfect place to perform our last show.
Our Latex costumes were originally inspired from London’s “Fetish” fashion & culture, and most of our costume’s material actually comes from London. Also, some of the amazing artists we’ve worked with (Like Danny L Harle, Weirdcore, MYLK and more) are based in London and we feel very close to the city.
With the help of JPU Records, we are performing on Dec 16th, 2023:)
We hope we can meet as many agents as possible.
Big Love,
from RiRi & LuLa
FEMM is a one-of-a-kind group, not only being “Living Mannequins,” but also their robotic dance choreography and encouraging girl power bops have been a standout in the music industry for a decade. Their signature song “Fxxk Boyz Get Money” (2014) is called an anthem by fans, and the popularity never fades.
Having a huge fan base mostly in the US and Europe, they have played numbers of major festivals such as HYPER JAPAN (UK), JAPAN EXPO (France), Napoli Comicon (Italy), Japan Weekend Madrid (Spain), Con+Alt+Delete (Chicago, USA), Anime Weekend Atlanta (Atlanta, USA) and the list goes on. They had a successful Europe tour last year, “FEMM-Isation Tour 2022,” and performed in various cities in France, Germany, and the UK.
FEMM has just dropped their final EP “CHERRY” on Nov 15th, and they plan to play songs from it at their final concert. Especially, if they sing their first ever solo songs, this will be the first and last time.
This last concert will certainly be an emotional show both for fans and FEMM themselves.
