Behind Wolf Howl Harmony’s Latin Push: Ghee’s Brazilian Family Ties
Wolf Howl Harmony is turning a member’s family ties into a Latin American push. The Exile Tribe vocal and rap group shared the chorus of “Gachi Funk” in Portuguese on TikTok and Instagram on Oct. 4, 2026, drawing on member Ghee’s Brazilian roots.
The Portuguese audio follows the group’s Brazil debut at Anime Friends 2026 in São Paulo, where it performed for about 30,000 attendees across two shows on July 2 and 5. Fans sang the Portuguese lines of “Gachi Funk,” which blends J-pop with Brazilian funk.
Ghee’s Brazilian Roots Shape the Gachi Funk Portuguese Version
Originally released in February, “Gachi Funk” mixes J-pop with Brazilian funk and draws on Ghee’s Brazilian roots through his contribution to the lyrics. The Portuguese-language chorus now brings the song closer to listeners in Brazil.
The trip also had a personal side. Domingo Espetacular covered Ghee’s emotional reunion with his grandmother, adding a family storyline to the group’s Brazil debut.
Local outlets followed the group closely. BreakTudo and Febre Teen ran interviews, and the group landed a cover appearance on NPOMV’s first J-Zine.
The group also caught football fever at Corinthians’ Neo Química Arena, shouting “Vai, Corinthians!” during a visit shared on the tour’s social channels. Meu Timão covered the moment.
Wolf Howl Harmony Targets Latin America, From Mexico to Argentina
Now the group is carrying that momentum online. The Portuguese audio is part of a wider Latin America push that builds on Portuguese-language livestreams, Brazilian-inspired social content and first meetings with local fans.
Ghee said the group wants its music to travel well beyond Brazil. “We hope that more people, not only in Brazil but across Latin America and around the world, will get to know Wolf Howl Harmony’s music.”
“We hope that one day we can visit more countries, meet everyone face-to-face, and have more opportunities to sing together. The Portuguese version of “Gachi Funk” is a step for us to connect with people around the world.”
Ghee is also learning Spanish and hopes to bring the group’s music to audiences in Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina. After the welcome in Brazil, the group’s sights are set on reaching more fans worldwide.
Fans can listen and create with the Gachi Funk (Portuguese ver.) audio on TikTok now. The sound gives newcomers a fresh way to discover the group.
