GAC GN8 PHEV Executive Features: Massage Seats and a Tech-Loaded Cabin
Stuck in Metro Manila traffic? GAC is betting the back seat can turn gridlock into a break. Its flagship GAC GN8 PHEV Executive pitches a seven-seater cabin with massage seats, a quiet ride and a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
GAC Philippines launched the GN8 PHEV Executive as the top model in its MPV lineup, aimed at families and high-profile professionals. The company says it is designed for buyers who want more comfort, space, technology and performance.

GAC GN8 PHEV Executive Features: Massage Seats and a Tech-Loaded Cabin
The second-row captain’s seats come with four-way power leg rests, position memory, heating, ventilation and multi-mode massage, GAC says. A One Touch Spa Mode and Zero Gravity seat settings round out the setup.
GAC’s Zero Breeze air conditioning uses more than 1,600 micro-vents to spread a gentle, draft-free flow, alongside tri-zone climate control and a plasma purifier. Hidden six-directional seat vibration dampers and green-tinted acoustic glass target road noise.
Up front, drivers get a full LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Second-row passengers get their own overhead screen and dual folding tray tables, while a Yamaha 16-speaker system handles audio.
Plug-In Hybrid Range, Safety Tech and Availability in the Philippines
The GN8 pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle engine with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor and a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. GAC lists combined output at 373 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.
GAC claims an electric range of up to 120 kilometers and a combined range of more than 1,000 kilometers. DC fast charging can take the battery from 30% to 80% in 45 minutes, according to the company.
The battery can also power an in-car 220V outlet and run the Zero Breeze air conditioning while the vehicle is parked, GAC says. That means a quiet cabin without engine noise or vibration.
For hot and rainy days, the company cites thermal management for the high-voltage battery and sealed insulation for the battery and motor. It still advises cautious driving in deep water.
Safety features include Electronic Stability Program, Hill Descent Control, Traction Control and Anti-lock Braking with Hydraulic Brake Assist. GAC says the systems are meant to keep the vehicle stable on slick or hot roads.
Calvin Cheng, GAC Philippines president, said at the launch that the brand is bringing Filipino customers “a complete MPV lineup that can serve their changing needs.” He cited a “long-term commitment to offer vehicles for every user and every journey.”
Reservations and test-drive bookings are open at GAC dealerships nationwide. Introductory savings apply to reservations placed through Dec. 31, 2026, per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-269021, Series of 2026.
The GN8 PHEV Executive comes in Blade Shadow White, Temple Gold and Elegant Black with a red-and-black interior. GAC Philippines has 30 dealerships nationwide and offers two years of free roadside assistance.
