‘Downton Abbey’ Star Michelle Dockery Sings at Funeral for Fiance’ [WATCH VIDEO]

IMG_5031“Downton Abbey” lead star Michelle Dockery sang her final goodbyes to fiance’ John Dineen Wednesday during a funeral in Ireland. The actress referred to her partner as “my hero, my king, my everything,” according to The Irish Mirror.

Dineen’s service was held at the St. James Church in Cork, and Michelle was said to have chosen to sing “The Folks Who Live on the Hill,” as a tribute. It was apparently the song she often sings for him, per Page Six.

During the ceremony, Dineen’s photo was placed o top of his casket next to a stuffed monkey, which he owned as a child, and a Munster rugby jersey.

Dineen was a public relations executive who met Michelle through her co-star Allen Leech in 2013.  Their relationship was kept away from the public eye.

“The family is very grateful for the support and kindness they have received, but would kindly request that they are left to grieve in private,” said the statement issued by Michelle’s reps.
