Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the long-running medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” snagged a lucrative deal with Netflix and will soon start filming the limited series “Inventing Anna.” The show’s main cast has been recently confirmed with David Frankel helming the first two episodes.
Netflix has announced the casting of 12 actors who will star in the upcoming drama series “Bridgerton” from “Grey’s Anatomy” scribe Chris Van Dusen and produced by “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes. The show is set to launch in 2020 with eight full-hour episodes and production will begin in London in the next few weeks.

Author Melinda Taub’s “Still Star-Crossed,” the modern day sequel novel to the classic “Romeo and Juliet” is getting an adaptation on ABC. Production will be handled by a team under headed by Shonda Rhimes, the creator of “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
