FOX’s highly successful drama series ‘9-1-1′ is getting a spinoff. This time ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ will be set in Austin, Texas with Rob Lowe heading the series. The new show is scheduled to premiere in the network’s 2019-2020 slate with Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear still serving as executive producers. Lowe will also have producer credits in the series.

Comedy Central unveiled today an all-star roster of Roasters who will join Roast Master David Spade for the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe, which includes some of today’s hottest comedic talent, a perfect 10 beauty, and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time throwing spirals at Lowe. The #LoweRoast will tape at Sony Studios in California on Saturday, 27 August and premiere in Asia on Saturday, 10 September at 8pm (TH/WIB), 9pm (HK/PH/SG/TW) and 10pm (MY). While “Code Black” is losing two of its cast members from Season 1, the show has added more actors for its second season, including Rob Lowe. The actor, whose last series, “The Grinder,” was cancelled on Fox, is joining the CBS medical series in the fall. He’s playing a former military doctor in “Code Black” Season 2.
