Liza_Weil_(cropped)Liza Weil and Paul Adelstein announced their divorce after being married for almost ten years. The couple, who are known for their work on television, will share the custody of their five-year-old daughter.

The divorce was filed on March 25 and was initiated by Weil, per Daily Mail.  The couple have been living separately since January 15 and the papers stated the reason as irreconcilable differences. Weil is also requesting spousal support from her ex-husband, which will still be settled during mediation, per E! Online.

Paul Adelstein starred in “Private Practice”  and is currently seen in “Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce” as, ironically, a father going through a divorce with his famous wife. He will soon return to television for the “Prison Break” reboot.

On the other hand, Lisa Weil is part of the cast of “How To Get Away with Murder,” but TV fans love her in her earlier work on “Gilmore Girls.” She is expected to be in the reboot of the series on Netflix.

Adelstein and Weil met in 2006 during their work in theater and they have worked in several movies and TV shows since. Their daughter’s name is Josephine.
