Rowan Blanchard has booked her next gig following the cancellation of her Disney series “Girl Meets World.” The actress has landed a guest spot on the ABC comedy set in the ’80s, “The Goldbergs.”

Blanchard will be appearing in one episode of the series but there’s potential for more guest stints. She will play the role of Aliza, the editor of William Penn Academy’s student-run sci-fi/fantasy magazine, TV Line reports.

Blanchard’s guest stint on “The Goldbergs” is expected to air in early spring. “The Goldbergs” airs every Wednesday nights on ABC and stars Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orantia, Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey,

Meanwhile, rumors have been rife that “Girl Meets World” might move to another platform after Disney pulled its plug. Creator Michael Jacobs said that there have been talks, but nothing is set in stone at this point.

Apart from her popularity in “Girl Meets World,” Blanchard, 15, is also an advocate of LGBT rights and abortion. The outspoken teen also participated during the Women’s March. Fans are drawn to her for not being afraid to speak her mind at such a young age.

The young actress is also set to be seen on the big screen for “A World Away,” a family drama adapted from the novel written by Madeleine L’Engle. The movie has an April 2018 theater date.
