PVL: Motolite, BanKo-Perlas clash in key duel

Motolite bucked the absence of injured top hitter Myla Pablo and re-grouped in the decider to pull off a tough 25-16, 25-21, 19-25, 29-31, 19-17 decision in their first round elims clash with BanKo Perlas last Sept. 11. Motolite would win two of its next three games without the former National U star to firm up its semis bid with a 7-3 slate for third.

Kathy Bersola’s blocking skills, together with BanKo-Perlas teammate Jem Ferrer, make hitting doubly difficult for Choco Mucho’s Kat Tolentino (10).
