NBA: Celtics’ Tatum drains game-winner over Giannis in epic battle [WATCH]

Jayson Tatum hit a bankshot triple with a second left as the Boston Celtics fended off the Milwaukee Bucks’ comeback attempt for a 122-121 win Wednesday.

The Celtics blew a huge double-digit advantage in the 2nd half, with the Bucks threatening to steal the game.

But Tatum delivered in the clutch, knocking down a wild heave over the defense of reigning 2-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo had a chance to send the game to overtime after a last second foul on Tristan Thompson, but he missed the 2nd free throw.

The young star finished with 30 points. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 33. They spoiled a 35-point, 13-rebound performance from Antetokounmpo.

Khris Middleton also had a notable showing of 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists.

The game saw the respective debuts of Jrue Holiday (Bucks) and Jeff Teague (Celtics) for their new teams. Holiday had 25 points while Teague contributed 19 off the bench.
