NBA: Brooklyn Nets sign Justin Anderson as Wilson Chandler to skip Orlando return

NBA: Brooklyn Nets sign The Brooklyn Nets will sign journeyman Justin Anderson to fill in a roster spot left temporarily by Wilson Chandler, who opted out of the NBA’s season return in Orlando.

Chandler averaged 5.9 PPG and 4.1 RPG for the Nets this season, mostly coming off the bench.

Anderson played 3 games with Brooklyn last January when he signed a 10-day contract.

But he was waived after and continued playing for the G-League for the Raptors 905 and eventually the Long Island Nets.

The 21st pick of the 2015 NBA Draft now has a chance to prove his worth once again for the Nets.

Brooklyn is in the thick of the playoff race with a 30-34 record, good for 7th in the Eastern Conference.
