NBA: Bryant, Duncan, Garnett to be inducted to Hall of Fame

NBA legends Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett will be part of this year’s Basketball Hall of Fame inductees.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania tweeted about the news on Friday night.

Bryant, who passed away last January at 41 years old, is regarded as the greatest Los Angeles Laker of all-time.

The 5-time NBA champion is the 4th all-time leading scorer in league history. He is also the Lakers franchise’s steals leader.

Duncan is widely considered as the best power forward of all time. Also a 5-time NBA champion, the San Antonio Spurs lifer has averaged 19 PPG on 50.6% shooting, 10.8 RPG, and 2.2 BPG in his 19-year career.

Garnett has likewise transcended the NBA during his prime years. He was the season MVP in 2004 while playing with the Minnesota Timberwolves, before winning a title with the Boston Celtics in 2008.

The 22-year pro is a 4-time rebounding champion.
