The 6-foot guard averaged 19.1 PPG (33.5% 3-points), 3.1 RPG, 4.1 APG, and 1.5 SPG as a junior and was named to the all-Pac-12’s first team in 2020.

He was an all-Pac 12 second team member last year, and was the Pac-12 6th man of the year in 2018.

One of the most promising overseas-based Filipino basketball players, Martin was included in then Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes’ 23 for 2023 FIBA World Cup wishlist.

When he was an incoming freshman, ESPN’s scouting report noted that Martin was “an explosive point guard prospect that plays with an aggressive edge” and that he “pushes the ball well in transition and has the burst to get to the rim in a hurry.”

ESPN was also fond of Martin’s ability to finish over defenders and body strength.
