Football: Injured England star Harry Kane looking to play in Euro 2020

English striker Harry Kane is optimistic he will make it to the UEFA Euro 2020 in spite being currently sidelined with an injury.

Speaking to an online report, Kane mentioned:

“Unless something pretty drastic happens between now and then, I’ll be there.”

The 26-year-old striker has been injured since January 1. He underwent surgery for his hamstring.

While he hasn’t returned to training, Kane has stressed that he is “feeling stronger.”

Kane led his nation to the semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. England has been ranked no. 4 in the world since.

England is in Group D of the Euro 2020 alongside Czech Republic, Croatia, and another country advancing from the playoff qualifying stages.

One of the 12 host countries, England will face Croatia at the Webley Stadium in London on June 14 to open its campaign.
