Following an intra-squad scuffle involving mainly import Dez Wells and Ronald Tubid last week, the San Miguel Beermen opted to hold practice behind closed doors Monday.

According to online sports website Spin.ph, security at the Beermen practice facility (Acropolis Gym) refused to take in visitors.

It was reported last weekend that a scuffle broke out during the Beermen’s practice scrimmage game held at the Gatorade Hoops Center.

Wells, Tubid, as well as Arwind Santos, and Kelly Nabong were involved in the said incident.

A few fans were present when the fight broke out.

Wells has been inactive for the Beermen following an injury as the team sought the services of John Holland last week against Rain or Shine.

The Beermen still have not released an official statement after what happened.
