UAAP: La Salle regains streetdance title

The La Salle Dance Company became the winningest crew after regaining the throne in the UAAP Season 81 streetdance competition Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

They bested last year’s champion Far Eastern University’s Street Alliance and second runner-up National University Underdawgz. LSDC won a record fourth streetdance title, rocking with its Queen-inspired routine.

LSDC surpassed UP Street, which has three crowns overall.

FEU Street Alliance was on fire with its soldier theme to finish second, while NU Underdawgz paid tribute to the late Freddie Mercury to claim the third place trophy.

In the juniors division, University of Santo Tomas Galvanize won its second straight title, slaying the dance floor and brought justice to the school’s revered Go USTe chant.

University of the East Street Varsity Team ended up in second place, while FEU-Diliman Baby Tamaraws Dance Company took the third spot.
