Reymart Gaballo, one of the fast-rising Filipino fighters, has been showcasing his immense talent abroad. Next month, the hard-punching boxer will be finally strutting his wares right in front his countrymen.

The unbeaten Gaballo (19W-0L-0D, 16KOs), the WBA Interim World bantamweight champion, will face Tanzanian Champion Julias Kirasawe (29W-6L, 15KOs) on September 30 at the SM North Skydome, Manila.

The non-title fight scheduled for 10 rounds under the 118-pound division will be aired live by ESPN 5 Philippines.

“I am excited to be back in the ring after my big win last March,” said Gaballo.

Gaballo was brilliant in his last fight as he dominated the erstwhile unbeaten Stephon Young to cop his current WBA belt.

Gaballo is extra excited to fight in front of the Filipino crowd.

“This is a great opportunity for me to fight in front of my countrymen and in a nationally televised fight. I will train hard so I can give a great show in front of many Filipinos,” he said.

For Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, the time has come for most of the Filipino fight fans to take a glimpse at the country’s prized fighter.

“On September 30, Filipinos will come to know the name Reymart Gaballo. The Philippines’ best secret is not a secret anymore. We had some other offers but we chose to fight here because we want the Filipino fans to know what they are missing,” said Manangquil.
