Tough Mudder comes to PH this July

The world’s fastest growing obstacle event, Tough Mudder, sets foot for the first time in Philippine soil on July 21-22 at the Portifino Amore in Alabang.

More than 2,500 participants are expected in the two-day test of strength and endurance that offers a wide variety of hurdles in both the 5k and 8K categories.

“We are very proud to be the local licensee of Tough Mudder for the country. We will bring Tough Mudder’s signature obstacle courses, and this event will give you the same experience of participating in Tough Mudder events in other parts of the world,” said Justine Cordero, COO of Proactive, during the during PSA Forum on Tuesday at Tapa King Restaurant at Farmers Plaza in Cubao.

Cordero was accompanied by Tough Mudder Ambassador Noe Agra and Jay EM, president of Pro-Active, same group that organizes the popular ColorManila Run series, in the public sports program presented by San Miguel Corp., Tapa King, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.

Tough Mudder is one of the fastest growing mass participation event in the world, with over 3 million people having joined in the past, with events spanning the United Kingdom, Europe, USA, and Asia.

“It is high time that we bring Tough Mudder to the Philippines and we encourage runners to take advantage of this event. We would like to encourage everyone to sign up for the much-awaited Tough Mudder Philippines and test their limits while having fun,” added Em.
