Two familiar faces are returning on “Arrow” season 6 – Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes). Both will show up at some point moving forward but their appearances are in no way connects.

Nyssa al Ghul lives!

Nyssa al Ghul was part of the “Arrow” season 5 skirmish that Oliver Queen/ Arrow (Stephen Amell) brought to Lian Yu to take down Adrian Chase/ Prometheus (Josh Segarra). Towards the end of that season, there was a big explosion on the island with no update on who died on who survived.

Nyssa never re-appeared after that although Slade Wilson did mention that Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter was somewhere on the island. The only problem with that is it could have been Nyssa or Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig), Screen Rant reported.

However, a report from Variety clears all of that with Katrina Law’s return. It will just be for one episode, said to be episode 16 titled “Thanatos Guild.” It seems Nyssa will resurface to warn Ollie and company of an impending threat to the said guild. Could this group take over from the dissolved League of Assassins?

Thea’s ex-boyfriend is back

Aside from Nyssa al Ghul, another familiar face reportedly returning for “Arrow” Season 6 is Roy Harper AKA Arsenal/ Red Arrow. Unlike the case of Nyssa, Roy will be appearing in several episodes.

Team Arrow is currently divided with Oliver and John Diggle (David Ramsey) trying to hold their own with Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzales) and Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy)opting to go rogue due to lack of trust. Could the Red Arrow return to give Ollie and Diggle an extra pair of hands?

Roy did return before but helped out without wearing the Arsenal suit. With the current threat seemingly holding overwhelming odds, Harper’s return could be tied up to the threat currently led by Cayden James (Michael Emerson).

“Arrow” Season 6 returns on Feb. 1 for episode 12 titled “All for Nothing” on The CW. Check out the trailer below.
