Netflix Reboots ‘Queer Eye For The Straight Guy’

Are the Fab Five back? has announced the reboot of the style series “.” The show, now changed to simply “,” is going to feature┬ánew members. The streaming site has not yet announced its release date.

“Queer Eye” aired on the cable channel from 2003 to 2007. It featured Ted Allen, Carson Kressley, Kyan Douglas, Jai Rodriguez and Thom Filicia — the five gay men task to teaching straight guys how to find their style and learn social tips.

“Queer Eye” won as the Outstanding Reality Program in 2004 and 2005 in the GLAAD Awards. It will be interesting how Netflix will reboot the show for a new audience as the makeover series had been regarded as groundbreaking during its run.
