Ryan Phillippe’s latest starrer, “Shooter,” is finally debuting on USA Network on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The show has been delayed due to real-life shooting incidents in the United States, but it’s finally getting its air time. Originally announced for a July premiere, the show’s start date was moved for Fall season.

“Shooter” is based on the movie of the same title that starred Mark Walhberg. The actor returns on the TV show to work behind the scenes as its executive producer, along with Lorenzo di Bonaventuram John Hlavin and Stephen Levinson. Ryan Phillippe takes center stage on the series this time, playing Bob Lee Swagger, the highly-decorated sniper war hero.

“Shooter” will revolve around the plot to murder the president in the initial episode. As it is with the movies, Swagger will be tagged as the assassin and he has to prove his innocence. Check out the teaser to the series below.

“Shooter” also stars Omar Epps, Shantel VanSanten, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Eddie McClintock and Tom Sizemore. The TV series is expected to deviate from the plot of the movie, which is actually based on a book, “Point Of Impact” by Stephen Hunter.
