Adam Sandler is gracing the small screen with a good friend. The comedian is set to visit Kevin James on his comedy series “Kevin Can Wait” on CBS.

The actors have been good friends and co-stars among many of Adam Sandler’s movies and to show support for Kevin James, Sandler will be one episode of “Kevin Can Wait.” Entertainment Tonight reports that the actor’s appearance will air on Nov. 7

Adam Sandler will play a former cop who used to work alongside Kevin James’ character, who has since retired from the force. Kevin will be quite jealous of his friend’s relationship with his new partner.

It has been awhile since Sandler has done television, as he has been part of “Saturday Night Live” in the early ’90s. He also guest starred in shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and Kevin James’ old show “The King of Queens.”

The news comes as “Kevin Can Wait” is making changes in its production. Showrunner Bruce Helford, who also co-created the series with Kevin James, is supposedly leaving the CBS comedy.

Deadline reports that in his place, Rob Long will take on showrunner duties. Apparently, Helford has resigned due to creative differences.

“Kevin Can Wait” airs every Monday nights on CBS. The has been doing fine in the ratings so far.
