Fall TV 2016: Here Are The New Shows That Have Earned Full Season Status So Far

It has been a month since Fall Season TV 2016 started and networks have already given some new shows their full season status. This means that for these select freshmen series so far, viewers will be able to watch 13 to 22 episodes of their first year run. What shows have been given full season orders? Check out the list below.

ABC – “Designated Survivor” and “Speechless”

The Kiefer Sutherland political drama “Designated Survivor” was hailed as one of this season’s most popular show. The network has also renewed the unique comedy series “Speechless,” which stars Minnie Driver. It is about a family with a special needs teenager.

FOX – “Lethal Weapon”

The TV adaptation of “Lethal Weapon” is a fun and enjoyable series. Starring Damon Wayans Sr. and Clayne Crawford, Fox gave the show an 18-episode order.

NBC – “This Is US” and “The Good Place”

This Is Us” was the first show to earn a full season and it rightfully deserves it. The drama series from Dan Fogelman follows the Pearson family and it’s been hailed by critics as a real deal tearjerker.

The peacock network also gave “The Good Place” a 13-episode order. The comedy stars Kristen Bell and Ted Danson and it is about the after life.

CBS’s new shows with full season was reported earlier. Check it out.  Meanwhile, The CW has not yet confirmed any full season announcements. It has only two new shows in contention and the network launched their season only this October.
