Channing_Tatum_July_2015“Kingsman 2” just got more cool points as Channing Tatum officially boards the movie. The actor confirmed he’s part of the cast in a Twitter post to his followers Thursday.

Tatum shared that he’s “about to get all up in that Golden Circle,” on the social site, but details to the role he will play have yet to be revealed. The movie already has a stellar cast headed by Colin Firth, Taron Egerton and Edward Holcroft.  There are also unconfirmed reports that Julianne Moore and Halle Berry are in the cast as villains, per Screen Crush and Elton John is also being considered for a special role.

However, the extent of Firth’s participation is also unclear. His character was killed in the first movie.

Tatum’s casting comes as the actor is also set to film the MIB/Jumpstreet mash-up movie “MIB 23” with Will Smith and Jonah Hill. Deadline reports that filming for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” will take place this spring with Tatum potentially playing an American secret agent. The action comedy is set to be in theaters on June 2017. The first movie was a sleeper hit in 2014.
