Grimm-logoThere will be more monsters to fight on “Grimm” as the show received a Season 6 renewal from NBC. The show will keep its solid spot on Friday nights for another year.

“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” said NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke in a statement released Tuesday per The Hollywood Reporter. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”

The show premiered in 2011 to less-than-stellar ratings. But over time, “Grimm” grew to find a fan base among lovers of a different kind of fairytale.
