Anonymous Hackers warn ISIS will bring attacks on five countries
In the U.S., the terrorist group is planning an attack at the WWE Survivor Series pro-wrestling event at the Philips Arena in Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, the International Business Times reported.
The masked hacking group said there are also plans to renew attacks in Paris, which is still scrambling to pick up the pieces after ISIS blew up its stadium, a restaurant and a —-, killing 130 people.
Countries like Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon were also warned of possible terror plots by the militant group.
OpParisIntel, the Anonymous effort against ISIS that began after the Paris attacks, said on Saturday that it had discovered information on new terror plots “on Paris and the world” scheduled for Nov. 22, the IBT reported.
But since Nov. 22 has apparently passed, authorities believe “it is best to take matters into our own hands.”
“We only take the responsibility of warning civilians (in case the authorities do not act well enough),” Anonymous said.
“All proof was submitted to official authorities all around the globe days ago,” the group said. “They have it and it is their responsibility to do something with it.
The IBT said Anonymous shared its findings with intelligence agencies in the United States and Britain, but would not release its proof publicly.
The FBI said Saturday that it was aware of the alleged threat to the Atlanta event, but lacked “specific or credible information of an attack.”
